Metalsmithin'..

I signed up for a jewelry metalworking class recently and I now know why handmade jewelry can be so expensive. So far, it has been really fun though! I learned how to saw something with a saw blade.

Shady Salon

The hubby getting a haircut with Shady in tow. She's usually very quiet but then started barking viciously when she heard the electric mosquito squatter.

m.i.a. Hammy

My gosh, it has been WAY too long since I've last posted! What have I been doing?! I may have had blogger's block..which then led to laziness. I think it's about time I return and share with the world my thoughts about nothing! I started many posts but did not finish them. So.. I will finish and publish them now!

But first - a new discovery for me: Bissinger's Gummy Bears! A friend of mine was in the states for Chinese New Year and she got a bag of these for me from Whole Foods. Apparently, they are very hard to find and not always in stock. Very yummy! I finished the bag already. Boo.

Happy V Day!

Today was not only Valentine's day, but it also our 5 year anniversary of being together. We celebrated over a yummy feast at Italian Restaurant Danieli with gazillion other cheesy couples.  Nonetheless, we had a good time and my tummy was very happy. I must say, my hubby is sure lucky to have me in his life. Hope y'all enjoyed cheesy lover's day!

The mother of Michael's..

I was researching online for something like Michael's here and found an area north of Taipei Main Station that houses many Michael's-like craft stores. One that particularly stood out was Bear Mama DIY. So, I took a trip out there and oh my gosh....right when I stepped in, I felt like I was a little kid again! The colors, the beads, the fabric, the rolls of ribbons...I wanted it all! Although Bear Mama wasn't as big as Michael's, it was big enough for Taipei and definitely just as satisfying!
